What are the symptoms of stomach cancer?

  • Severe and unrelenting indigestion

How is stomach cancer diagnosed?

Usually, stomach cancer is diagnosed when a person visits the doctor because of the symptoms they are experiencing. If stomach cancer is suspected, certain tests may confirm or deny its presence:

  • EGD
  • EUS
  • biopsy
  • blood tests
  • imaging tests (such as MRIs and CT scans)

How is stomach cancer treated?

The most common methods to treat stomach cancer include:

  • Surgery (EMR and stents)
  • Chemotherapy
